To give some background information on Stantan Dave (otherwise known as Dave) he is a young British rapper that grew up in a poor district of London. Dave stands out from other British rappers by speaking out in the areas of politics and violence in the UK rather than women, money and weapons. He mostly talks about things that he has seen with his own eyes or he has experienced growing up. Subjects he raps about could range from, the murder of his friend, the violence on the streets of London or Brexit.

He also has a very distinctive style of music video. He mainly produces performance videos where he raps towards the camera. The music videos aren't cheap to make, however he keeps the main focus on the lyrics and instrumental by keeping the music video simple.

If I were to create a music video for Hangman, I would have a mix of performance and also cut to CCTV camera footage or Iphone footage showing real videos of problems that he is talking about in the song. However, I wouldn't want to cloud the lyrics with unnecessary over-editing to continue the style that Dave has in his other videos.
